Company History
Accurate Truck Service, LLC (Accurate Truck Service) began as a two person truck repair shop in 2005. The Company’s original location was in Wayland, MI, about 25 miles south of Grand Rapids. Doug Larsen, a licensed diesel mechanic, began the Company to provide medium and heavy duty truck repair service for businesses in the Wayland area with small fleets of trucks. In July, 2008, Doug entered into a merger agreement for Accurate with Craig Scholten, Ryan Bos, who only three months earlier had formed Griffin Transportation, Inc. in Grand Rapids. With that combination, Accurate had an affiliated company’s fleet of tractors to provide repair and maintenance, which provided resources to grow the truck repair service business over a broader footprint within West Michigan.
As the truck repair business expanded, Accurate Truck Service soon outgrew its Wayland facility and the Company relocated to Grand Rapids, MI. In its current facility, Accurate has 20 repair bays, a transmission shop, a body shop and a paint shop. Operating two shifts Monday through Friday, Accurate is able to provide its customers quality truck repairs when they need the work done.
While the Company continues to grow and expand its truck repair service offerings, Accurate Truck Service continues to hold to its original core values of honesty, integrity, respect and service.

Accurate Truck Service provides medium and heavy duty truck maintenance, repair, body work and roadside assistance to customers in West Michigan. All these services are provided at the Company’s location in Grand Rapids, conveniently located near the 44th Street exit of Route 131.
